Job Overview:
We are seeking motivated and reliable individuals to join our team for the upcoming harvest season. These seasonal positions are based in Selebi Phikwe Citrus, and the successful candidates will be responsible for picking high-quality fruit and ensuring the smooth operation of the packing process.
Responsibilities:
- Harvest, pick and pack various types of citrus fruits from trees or plants.
- Ensure that fruits are picked and packed carefully to avoid damage and maintain product quality.
- Carry harvested fruit to designated areas for processing or packaging.
- Follow health and safety guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Report any injuries, damages, or safety concerns to the supervisor.
- Perform other duties related to the harvest as assigned by your immediate supervisor.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Above the age of 18
- Strong physical fitness to handle manual labour
- No previous experience required, but experience in agricultural work or fruit picking and packing is an added advantage
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including standing, bending, and lifting
- Willingness to work in varying weather conditions
- Good communication skills
- Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality harvest
- A positive attitude and team-oriented work ethic
