Bolux Group requires the services of a qualified, experienced;
STOCK ASSEMBLY SUPERVISOR
Reporting to the Value Chain Controller, your responsibility will be to compile and record production data for purposes of reporting on production volumes, consumption of raw material, quality control, and other aspects of production to ensure effective management as well as control the OEE and NDD on a daily basis.
Your principal responsibilities shall include the following:
- Receive work orders and confirm receipt into the production schedule and distribute them to the relevant production supervisors.
- Review documents such as production schedules, work orders, and staffing tables to determine personnel materials requirements, and material priorities.
- Assist the Production Supervisor with the development of the master production schedule and where necessary adjust for changes in customer requirements, delays in receiving raw materials, availability of production equipment, etc.
- Prepare and maintain records of all raw materials used including lot verification and throughput yields.
- Record production data to compute factors such as items produced, volumes and cost of raw materials used, amount of scrap, frequency of defective products, worker and department production rates and compile reports for submission to management as well as input into the ACCPAC system.
- Capture production stock that has already been stacked on the pallets into the ACCPAC System before it passes the security gate into the warehouse.
- Ensure that no stacked pallet is captured after it has crossed to the warehouse or while it still remains in the packing area.
- Assist with the daily stock and monthly stock takes to ensure correct physical counts and verification of losses.
- Compute employee wage sheets from employee timecards and submit them to the Production Manager for authorisation and input into the payroll.
- Maintain daily housekeeping and adhere to safety practices at all times.
- Adhere to all food safety procedures.
- Undertake other related duties assigned by the supervisor as may be necessary for the achievement of the overall production objectives.
- Participate actively in the implementation of ISO and Kaizen programs in order to contribute to company compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental Policies.
EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate must have a Diploma in Accounting / Business Management or related.
One (1) year post qualification experience in the FMCG and manufacturing industry as well as knowledge in ACCPAC will be an added advantage.
The candidate must also possess:

- Attention to detail.
- Be observant and compliant.
