Maintenance Superintendent – Khoemacau Copper Mine

Position: Maintenance Superintendent

Location: Zone 5 Mine Site, between Maun and Sehithwa, Ngamiland, Botswana

Overview:
JCHX Mining Management Co., Ltd. is seeking a competent and proactive Maintenance Superintendent to oversee the site-wide mechanical maintenance operations. The successful candidate will focus on maintaining equipment reliability, supporting training of local teams, and ensuring compliance with safety and maintenance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

-Lead the maintenance team in delivering safe and efficient mechanical performance.

-Coordinate with Maintenance Planner on work scheduling and task prioritization.

-Oversee inspections and initiate corrective actions on breakdowns.

-Track KPIs and ensure accurate reporting of equipment availability.

-Review maintenance data and recommend improvement strategies.

-Mentor leading hands and support technical development of the workforce.

-Maintain records, generate reports, and liaise with project management on progress.

Requirements and Skills:

-Extensive experience managing large underground maintenance teams.

-Background in PRONTO or similar maintenance software.

-Proven leadership in safety, planning, and equipment management.

-Familiarity with maintenance for underground equipment such as Sandvik, CAT, and Normet fleets.

-Excellent organizational and communication skills.

-Strong English language proficiency (verbal and written).
