Boilermaker – MMG-Khoemacau Copper Mining

Location: Between Maun and Sehitwa, Ngamiland, Botswana
Position: Boilermaker

Overview:

MMG-Khoemacau Copper Mining is seeking a skilled Boilermaker to carry out fabrication, installation, and repair of metal structures and piping systems used in mining operations. The successful candidate will ensure all work meets quality and safety standards and contributes to the operational readiness of the site.

Key Responsibilities:

-Fabricate, install, and repair metal structures and piping systems.

-Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints accurately.

-Operate welding and cutting equipment safely and efficiently.

-Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.

-Maintain tools and workshop equipment in proper working condition.

Requirements and Skills:

-National Craft Certificate in Welding and Fabrication.

-Minimum 4 years of experience as a Boilermaker.

-Experience working in the mining industry is preferred.

-Proven skills in steel fabrication and welding techniques.

-Experience in maintaining mining infrastructure.

-Strong understanding of workplace safety practices.
