Graduate Management Trainee – Cash Bazaar Holdings

Cash Bazaar Holdings is a Gaborone based investment holding company with interests in several industries operating across Southern Africa.

An opportunity has arisen for a goal oriented, performance driven, analytical thinker to grow and develop within the organisation.

While the Group’s head office is based in Gaborone, the incumbent will be required to work at different locations within the group, such as Francistown, Kasane and Maun.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will undergo a 2-year management trainee programme, with a view to be absorbed into the business upon successful completion of the programme and;

• Will be exposed to all the different trading divisions within the group, including property management, retail, tourism & hospitality, building manufacturing supply and financial services.

• Should be able to demonstrate leadership skills; always act in a professional manner; be self-assured but not arrogant; driven and pro-active; diligent, conscientious and hardworking; possess the ability to communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds; be a problem solver with a love of learning; have a willingness to roll up your sleeves, adhere to deadlines and take ownership of and accountability for your projects.

Requirements

• Botswana citizen
• Graduate in a finance, engineering, commercial or similar field
• Be fluent in English and Setswana
• Hold a valid driver’s license
• Have between 2 – 4 years post qualification work experience
• Holding a post graduate degree in Management, Finance or equivalent from a reputable institution will be a distinct advantage
• Having lived, studied or worked outside of Botswana will be an added advantage
• Involvement in student or community organisations, whether past or current, will also be beneficial
