Maintenance
Motheo Copper Mine, Ghanzi, BOTSWANA
This Two (2) year structured program aims to cultivate a pipeline of capable professionals within the various business units of our organisation.
Key Performance Areas:
- Assist with design, development, and commissioning of electrical and instrumentation systems.
- Support maintenance, troubleshooting, and reliability improvement initiatives
- Participate in project planning, documentation, and reporting
- Hands on support for commissioning and optimization of plant equipment on site
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams including mechanical, process, and automation engineers.
- Perform inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with standards and safety regulations
- Contribute to data analysis and continuous improvement of plant performance
- Learn and apply relevant engineering codes, standards, and best practices. Assist with training of processing plant equipment for internal stakeholders
Technical Competencies
- Strong Academic record and eagerness to learn
- A willingness to be “hands on” ensuring the effective operations of the plant, this will mean getting involved with general maintenance activities as the plant requires
- self-motivated
- Interest in industrial automation, control systems, and power distribution
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with PLC programming, or SCADA systems is an advantage.

Qualification & Experience:
- Degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Instrumentation Engineering (or equivalent) from a reputable institution.
- Should have graduated with First Class (1) or Second-Class Upper Division (2:1)
- Entry Level Position.
- Registered or ability to register with Engineers Registration Board (ERB).
- Must be in possession of a valid Class B Driver’s License
