Overview

Lucara Botswana is seeking a qualified and experienced Storeman to join its team at the Karowe Diamond Mine in Letlhakane. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient issuing of quality stock and materials, ensuring compliance with approved stock request procedures and maintaining accurate inventory records. This role supports the logistics and operational efficiency of underground mine operations.

Key Responsibilities

-Receive and check incoming stock and materials.

-Issue items as per approved request documents and update the system accordingly.

-Manage stock dispatches and returns.

-Prepare goods for dispatch to suppliers and operational areas.

-Maintain accurate stock control and inventory records.

-Ensure legal and procedural compliance.

-Promote health, safety, and environmental standards in warehouse operations.

Qualifications & Experience

-BGCSE Certificate.

-Certificate in Purchasing & Supply or equivalent will be an advantage.

-At least 3 years of hands-on experience in warehouse operations, preferably in a mining environment.

-Good understanding of warehouse inventory systems and processes.

-Forklift Operator Certificate will be advantageous.

-Class B Driver’s License.
