Overview
Nashua Botswana, a leading ICT solutions provider delivering ICT, VOIP, and office automation services, is seeking an experienced Cloud Services & Cyber Security Engineer. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing data center operations, security operations, and ICT infrastructure solutions to ensure efficiency, scalability, and adherence to best practices.

Key Responsibilities

-Participate in daily operations of the data center and security operations center.

-Deliver solutions involving virtualization, storage, and networking.

-Support system uptime, backups, security protocols, and hardware upgrades.

-Coordinate with technical teams on deployment, planning, and troubleshooting.

-Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal policies.

Entry Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree or Diploma in IT Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years in IT, with at least 5 years in a data center services and security operations support role.
• Preferred Certifications:
  • CCNA or CCNP Data Center
  • Linux Administration Certification
  • VMware Certification
  • ITIL
  • Prince 2

Skills & Attributes

• Strong technical knowledge in networking, virtualization, Linux systems, and Microsoft technologies.
• Leadership and project management skills preferred.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Highly proactive, self-motivated, and meticulous in detail.
