Position Requirements
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Business Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Data Science or Analytics or equivalent is strongly preferred.
A minimum of Business Analysis, PL/SQL/T-SQL, experience with working with rational database or Equivalent, Application Development, Data Management/Analytics certifications.
Experience: +2 years’ experience working in an IT environment.
Experience with IT System development, implementations and support
Experience in working in financial environment would be an added advantage.
Experience in supporting digital banking platforms.
Competencies: Strong understanding of digital banking technologies, including online banking platforms, mobile banking apps, and other relevant systems.
Able to translate technical jargon to a business audience

Core Accountabilities and Responsibilities
1. Manages and supports the various electronic banking channels such as Internet Banking (IB), Mobile App (MA), Agency Banking App, ATMs & Cards, POS, USSD and other digital platforms.
2. Providing technical support for Internet Banking (IB), Mobile App (MA), Agency Banking App, ATMs & Cards and other digital platforms.
3. Ensuring smooth operation, security, and optimal performance of banking channels and provide training to the end users.
4. Provide support on card production and card related queries.
5. Provide day to day customer support and identifying opportunities for improvement.
6. Provide technical support for digital channel transactions.
7. Ability to setup new ATM and POS devices and provide day to day technical support.
8. Perform daily clearing and settlement processing of Visa transactions.
9. Troubleshooting issues, resolving customer queries and ensuring the systems are functioning correctly.
10. Participating in the development and implementation of new digital banking products and services.
11. Ensuring all digital banking channels comply with regulatory requirements, security standards, and data protection policies
12. Working with other departments, such as Operations, marketing, and customer service, call centre, to ensure the effective operation of all digital banking channels.
13. Adequately test and trouble shoot organisations’ IT Applications before deploying solutions on Production environment. Adherence to Change Management policies, frameworks and standards
14. Ability to extract and consolidate data from multiple data sources into a common report
15. Install, maintain and trouble shoot software to maximise availability and security.
16. Work, and liaise closely, with system vendors, contractors and third-party suppliers on installations and upgrades, maintenance and trouble shooting.
17. Respond to emergencies and operate on stand-by to provide timely support to technical issues as required.
18. Maintain logs and records of activities in order to track access, incidents, upgrades, licences, etc.
19. Where applicable visit sites, test equipment, install up-grades and resolves technical queries within areas of competence.
20. Liaise with Manager, Business Applications to ensure that all application software is adequately configured.
21. Demonstrate reliability, honesty and trustworthiness traits and adhere to ethical standards, frameworks and policies.
