Overview
Clicks Group is seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to fill the position of Assistant Store Manager at Rail Park Mall. This role is ideal for someone passionate about retail, committed to service excellence, and eager to play a key role in achieving store targets while supporting a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities
-Assist the Store Manager in driving daily store operations, sales, and profit performance.
-Lead customer service excellence and ensure superior in-store experiences.
-Support execution of promotional plans and visual merchandising.
-Monitor stock levels, manage shrinkage, and uphold store appearance standards.
-Assist in staff supervision, scheduling, and performance management.
-Maintain compliance with financial controls, labour policies, and operational procedures.
-Handle daily administration, reporting, and HR submissions.
-Promote Clicks as the preferred health and beauty retailer.
Entry Requirements
- Botswana General Certificate of Secondary Education (BGCSE) with minimum:
- English: C
- Mathematics: C
- A relevant qualification in Retail or Business Management (essential for external applicants).
- A degree in Retail/Business Management (advantageous).
- Minimum 1 year of experience in retail or FMCG assistant store management OR successful completion of the Clicks Trainee Management Programme.
- Knowledge and experience in financial and stock management.
