CDR CONTRACTS IS CURRENTLY SEEKING A BRANCH MANAGER IN BOTSWANA
REQUIREMENTS:
- Matric and Diploma or Degree in relevant field
- 7 + years of scaffolding experience in the Construction Industry
- Proven experience in the construction industry, with a focus on project management and leadership.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and other relevant tools.
- Ability to analyze financial data, prepare reports, and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Must be local to Botswana.
ROLE SUMMARY:
The Branch manager is responsible for overseeing the operations and management of a specific branch or location withing the company. They play a crucial role in ensuring the branch’s profitability, growth, and overall success.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Leadership and Team Management:
- Provide effective leadership to the branch team, including hiring, training, and performance management.
- Foster a positive work environment, promote teamwork, and motivate employees to achieve company goals.
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities, ensuring efficient workflow and optimal resource utilization.
- Operational Management:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the branch, including project management, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Monitor and evaluate project progress, ensuring adherence to quality standards, timelines and budgetary constraints.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Business Development
- Develop and execute strategies to drive business growth, expand the branch’s customer base, and increase revenue.
- Identify new business opportunities, establish partnerships, and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers.
