Choppies Enterprises Pty Limited is looking for Business Development Managers for their Botswana operations.
ROLE OVERVIEW
The successful candidates will focus on driving growth and profitability within our company. They are responsible for identifying opportunities to expand the brand’s presence, enhance customer acquisition, and improve overall market competitiveness. The BDM works on developing strategies to increase sales, improve operational efficiency, and foster strong relationships with customers and other stakeholders.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build and nurture relationships with key suppliers, distributors, and partners to secure advantageous terms and ensure product availability.
- Work with the marketing team to create compelling promotional campaigns that resonate with target customers to strengthen the brand’s position in the marketplace.
- Monitor retail performance across various channels and locations, providing insights on sales trends and growth opportunities.
- Work with the operations, finance and logistics team to improve store efficiency, reduce operational costs, and streamline supply chain processes.
- Prepare regular reports for senior management, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and recommendations for improvement.
REQUIREMENTS
- A Bachelors’ Degree in Business, Commerce or related field. Masters’ Degree will be an added advantage.
- 10 years of experience in sales, marketing, or a business development role. with proven success in generating revenue and business growth.
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms, digital marketing, and online retail strategies
