Position: Diamond Drilling Mechanic

Location: Zone 5 Mine Site, between Maun and Sehithwa, Ngamiland, Botswana

Overview:
JCHX Mining Management Co., Ltd. is hiring a skilled Diamond Drilling Mechanic to provide mechanical servicing and maintenance of underground diamond drilling equipment at the Zone 5 Mine Site. The role ensures the mechanical reliability and performance of drilling rigs to support uninterrupted production.

Key Responsibilities:

-Perform maintenance and repairs on underground diamond drilling equipment.

-Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical faults using tools and diagnostic systems.

-Maintain clean and organized workspaces and ensure compliance with safety procedures.

-Coordinate with drilling teams to schedule maintenance and reduce downtime.

-Maintain stock of critical spares and order tools and parts as required.

Requirements and Skills:

-Minimum 5 years’ experience maintaining underground drilling equipment.

-Mechanical Trade Certificate or equivalent.

-Knowledge of hydraulics, auto-electrics, and mechanical diagnostics.

-Ability to interpret technical drawings and troubleshoot faults.

-Strong organizational and communication skills.

-Experience in high-speed mechanized environments.
