DRIVERS
Job Overview
The Driver is responsible for transporting materials and equipment to construction sites. The Driver is also required to operate and maintain the delivery vehicle in safe and efficient condition.
Key Responsibilities
- Transport equipment and materials: The driver will be responsible for loading and unloading materials and equipment at various job sites.
- Maintain vehicles: The driver is responsible for keeping the vehicle clean, and well-maintained.
- Adhere to safety regulations: The driver must follow all safety rules and regulations when driving on the job site and public roads.
- Coordinate deliveries: The driver may need to coordinate deliveries within a specific timeframe and ensure that materials and equipment are delivered to the correct job site.
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver’s license
- Clean driving record
- Ability to communicate effectively and work in a team
- Experience driving large vehicles
- Ability to lift heavy materials and equipment
- Experience driving a delivery truck or similar commercial vehicle
- Familiarity with traffic laws and safety regulations
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials and equipment
- Basic math and record-keeping skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
