PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
Ensuring the correct stacking of products as per laid down standards.
KEY FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oil, water, petrol, tyre pressure to be according to form issued as per company procedures.
- All damages to be reported timeously.
- All malfunctions to be reported timeously and communicated sufficiently.
- Vehicle to be always clean.
- Ensure regular prescribed maintenance is carried out as specified.
- Ensure safety always adhered to.
- Ensure operating vehicle according to set standards.
- Ensure correct methods of loading.
- Ensure correct quantities loaded.
- Packing away of finished goods every day in store.
- Loading and off-loading of goods from trucks.
- Ensure that no damage is caused to products or pallet and proactively identify broken pallets which might damage bags.
- Take steps to proactively ensure stock rotation.
- Complying to company policies and procedures defined in company policies and procedure.
- Must be available to work overtime.
- Correct stacking of products.
- Do any ad hoc tasks instructed by Supervisor/Manager.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Grade 12 (NQF4) OR Grade 10 (NQF2) with 3 – 5 years’ experience.
- Must have a valid Forklift driver’s license.
- Willing to work shifts.
- Proficient in written and spoken English.
- Namibian Citizenship.
