Electrical Foreman – Khoemacau Copper Mine

Position: Electrical Foreman

Location: Zone 5 Mine Site, between Maun and Sehithwa, Ngamiland, Botswana
Closing Date: 27 May 2025

Overview:
JCHX Mining Management Co., Ltd. is recruiting an experienced Electrical Foreman to supervise electrical installation, maintenance, and repair across underground operations at the Zone 5 Mine Site. The successful candidate will manage safety, performance, and equipment reliability in a fast-paced mining environment.

Key Responsibilities:

-Lead the underground electrical maintenance team to meet operational and safety targets.

-Plan and allocate work orders in alignment with production schedules.

-Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards.

-Monitor and manage inventory, critical spares, and equipment.

-Assist with audits and inspections and report on team performance.

-Provide mentorship, training, and development to electricians.

Requirements and Skills:

-Minimum 10 years’ experience in senior electrical supervisory roles in mining.

-Electrical Trade Qualification (mandatory).

-Advanced understanding of mine power systems, including transformers, switchgear, and underground cables.

-Familiarity with PRONTO or similar maintenance management tools.

-Strong technical and team leadership skills.

-Excellent English communication skills.
