Role Purpose

Botswana Life is looking for suitably qualified candidates to fill in the role of Executive Assistant – Retail Distribution, by operating as the first point of contact for internal and external customers and stakeholders. This includes managing the Executive Director – Retail Distribution’s office on a daily basis, managing their diary and coordinating all communication.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or related qualification
  • Three (3) years’ experience as a secretary with thorough knowledge and experience in office administration.

Skills & Competencies

  • Sound experience in life insurance environment with advanced product knowledge.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and technical background compliance and risk management principles and practices.
  • Proven background in managerial leadership and report writing.
  • Demonstrate strong communication, negotiation and influential skills, advocacy skills, interpersonal skills and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrate understanding of strategic management, project planning, resource management, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation.
  • Demonstrate understanding of strategic management, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and skill in budgeting, capital & project management.
  • Demonstrate coaching and mentoring abilities
  • Demonstrate excellent analytical, sleuthing, and inspection abilities
