Graduate Trainee-Metallurgy – SANDFIRE RESOURCES

Key performance Areas:

• Compile and interpret statistical data for reporting
• Assist in designing and conducting metallurgical and process investigations in the plant.
• Assist Process Operations Team in monitoring and optimising process plant reagents and consumables
• Assist with developing innovative solutions to solve problems
• Support bench scale and piloting campaigns for equipment sizing
• Support commissioning and optimization of plant equipment on site
• Assist with training of processing plant equipment for internal stakeholders

Technical Competencies

• Knowledge of basic mineral processing technologies and equipment

Qualification & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Metallurgy, Engineering and/or Chemistry or related fields from a reputable institution
• Should have graduated with First Class (1) or Second-Class Upper Division (2:1)
• Entry Level Position.
• Registered or ability to register with Engineers Registration Board (ERB).
• Must be in possession of a valid Class B Driver’s License.
