Core Accountabilities and Responsibilities
1. Expected to work 8-hour shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays.
2. Provide day to day second level support of Enterprise Applications in Prod, UAT, Dev etc during 8 hr shift.
3. Analyse, contextualise and clarify client business requirements and documents the requirements.
4. Adequately test and trouble shoot organisations’ IT Applications before deploying solutions on Production environment. Adherence to Change Management policies, frameworks and standards
5. Ability to extract and consolidate data from multiple data sources into a common report.
6. Install, maintain and trouble shoot software to maximise availability and security.
7. Respond to end user queries, incidents and requests for assistance and support.
8. Train end users on use of software applications.
9. Basic understanding of data management, backup, storage, cyber & security and disaster recovery processes.
10. Work, and liaise closely, with system vendors, contractors and third-party suppliers on installations and upgrades, maintenance and trouble shooting.
11. Respond to end user queries and requests for assistance through support services.
12. Make recommendations for IT applications and installation, up-grades and designs.
13. Respond to emergencies and operate on stand-by to provide timely support to technical issues as required.
14. Maintain logs and records of activities in order to track access, incidents, upgrades, licences, etc.
15. Liaise with Manager, Business Applications to ensure that all application software is adequately configured.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Business Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Data Science or Analytics or equivalent is strongly preferred.
Experience: Experience with IT System development, implementations and support
Experience in working in financial environment would be an added advantage
Business Analysis, PL/SQL/T-SQL, experience with working with rational database or Equivalent, Application Development, Data Management/Analytics certifications will also be additional advantage.
