1. ASSISTANT HEAD GUIDE

Job Summary:
The Assistant Head Guide plays a pivotal role in supporting the Head Guide and guiding team to deliver exceptional, safe and memorable safari experiences. This leadership position combines operational oversight, mentorship and active guiding in ensuring that Xigera Safari lodge maintains its world class standards in hospitality, conservation and guest engagement.

Qualifications
• Full Professional Guide Licence acquired from a well-established and accredited institution
• Must have a minimum of 5 years guiding experience in the safari industry.
• Must have a valid and clean class B drivers licensce and PrDP Passengers
• Must have firearm and safari walking qualification and competence
• Must have strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
• Exceptional knowledge of Botswana `s ecosystems and conservation principles
• Must be compatible with 4×4 vehicles, Boating and Mokoro excursions
• Must be able to train, lead and manage departmental staff members
• Updated curriculum vitae and traceable work history
• The candidate must be proficient in computer systems and effective reporting skills

2. SPA CONSULTANT & SENIOR RESERVATIONS ADMINISTRATOR

Job Summary:
The candidate will be reporting to The operating Commercial Director and responsible for being an immediate link between guests and the company in making sure that reservation and spa bookings are made available in a professional, commercial and profitable manner and are aligned to the company’s revenue growth and expanding its market presence. The candidate must ensure superior standards of marketing for both the lodge and its services and brand. They will also be consulting on Spa retail commercial aspects.

Qualifications
• Diploma in Beauty Therapy / Management in Hospitality from a well-established and accredited institution
• The candidate must accurately obtain and input Guest profile information for spa reservations.
• Must poses 5 – 10 years’ experience in Hospitality and Guest relations
• Ensure all the necessary information is received from the arriving guests prior to their stay
• Develop and execute marketing strategies to drive revenue growth and market share through spa bookings
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with clients, partners and industry stakeholders
• Must possess strong communication skills and must be proficient with opera and modern Spa systems
• Expertise in market research, data analysis, and developing new clientele channels
• Updated curriculum vitae and traceable work history
• The candidate must have strong computer skills and be excellent with Pastel, Microsoft and Excel models
