Our client is looking for an Entrepreneur in Residence – Private Banking/ Relationship Manager Affluent Clients to spearhead their expansion into Botswana. This role is ideal for a seasoned wealth managers/financial advisors with a strong network among high-net-worth (HNW) and ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) individuals, institutions and family offices.

The person will be hired under their Mauritius-based firm but operate independently from, leveraging a flexible co-working setup.

Key Responsibilities

Business Growth Fundraising
Raise USD 5 million in Assets Under Management (AUM) from HNW/UHNW clients, family offices, and
institutions.Develop and execute fundraising strategies, securing long-term investor partnerships.

Market Development Partnerships
Build strategic alliances with financial institutions, family offices, and distribution partners. Engage with regulatory bodies and market stakeholders to ensure compliance and smooth operations.

Wealth Management Estate Planning
Provide tailored wealth management solutions to HNW/UHNW clients. Offer estate planning services, including trust structuring, succession planning, and tax optimization. Leverage our global expertise to deliver premium investment solutions to Botswana investors.

Strategic Operational Execution
Operate independently from Botswana while collaborating with our Mauritius-based team. Deliver regular market insights, performance updates, and reports to senior management. Ensure all business activities comply with and international regulations.

• Proven track record in fundraising, asset raising, and business development.
• Deep expertise in wealth management, investment advisory, estate planning, and trust
structures.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently and drive aggressive growth.

Preferred Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in wealth management, private banking, investment advisory, or family
offices.
• Relevant financial certifications (CFA, CFP, CAIA preferred but not required).
• Existing relationships with Namibia HNW/UHNW individuals and institutions.
