Role Purpose |
Reporting to the New Business Team Leader, the incumbent will be responsible for capturing new business data and updating existing member records to ensure data integrity, availability and easy retrieval. |
Requirements |
- Degree in Business Administration, Insurance, Healthcare Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- At least two (2) years post qualification experience in administration, customer service, or a similar role within the insurance or healthcare industry is beneficial.

Duties & Responsibilities |
- Receive and review member applications, ensuring all required information and documentation are provided.
- Capture member information into the system accurately and promptly.
- Prepare and issue membership documents and cards to members.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all new business applications, approvals, and policy issuances.
- Ensure that all new business processes adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
- Update membership amendments to ensure timeous updates and data accuracy for existing clients.
- Handle escalations and complaints related to the new business process, ensuring a positive resolution.
- Generate regular reports on new business activities, including application volumes, approval rates, and processing times.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the new business function.
