Location: Zone 5 Mine Site, between Maun and Sehithwa, Ngamiland, Botswana

Overview:
JCHX Mining Management Co., Ltd. is hiring a dynamic Procurement / Purchasing Officer to oversee all procurement and supply chain activities at the Zone 5 Mine Site. This hands-on role ensures timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services that meet project standards and operational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
-Plan, coordinate, and execute procurement strategies.
-Build and maintain supplier relationships and sourcing pipelines.
-Ensure compliance with procurement procedures and quality standards.
-Align procurement activities with project timelines and budgets.
-Support local supplier development to improve community engagement.
-Monitor inventory levels and coordinate logistics to meet operational demands.
Requirements and Skills:
-Minimum 5 years’ experience in procurement within the mining or construction industry.
-Knowledge of sourcing strategies, supplier evaluation, and supply chain risk management.
-Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
-Proficiency in procurement software and systems.
-Strong organizational and analytical thinking abilities.
-Excellent English communication (written and verbal).
-Experience in building procurement capabilities in local workforce settings is an advantage.
