Overview:
Redpath Botswana, a global leader in underground mining solutions, is seeking an experienced and qualified Project Services Manager for the Jwaneng Underground Mining Development Project. This position plays a critical role in coordinating and supporting multiple project teams while ensuring effective planning, execution, and standardization across key project areas.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the central point of contact, coordinating across various project teams
- Lead development of project guidelines to support planning and execution
- Standardize practices in project controls, document control, and reporting
- Deliver internal project reporting on a weekly and quarterly basis
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, training, and environmental standards
- Conduct risk assessments to mitigate personnel injury and equipment damage
- Report incidents, accidents, or near misses immediately
Requirements and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, or related field
- Minimum 10 years of experience managing underground projects
- Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering or a related field
- Mine Manager’s Certificate of Competency
- Valid Driver’s License and First Aid & CPR certification
- Strong knowledge of modern underground mining practices
- Proven skills in budget, cost, and resource management
