Position: Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) Manager
Location: Zone 5 Mine Site, between Maun and Sehithwa, Ngamiland, Botswana

Overview:
JCHX Mining Management Co., Ltd., a globally recognized underground mining contractor, is seeking a qualified Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) Manager to join its growing team at the Zone 5 Mine Site. The successful candidate will play a key leadership role in driving a safety-first culture, ensuring full compliance with SHE regulations, and fostering a sustainable work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

-Provide strong and visible leadership in SHE management.

-Implement SHE systems, procedures, and risk controls.

-Lead safety audits, training, emergency preparedness, and incident investigations.

-Collaborate with stakeholders including contractors and regulatory bodies.

-Promote continuous improvement in health and safety performance.

-Monitor SHE metrics and ensure regulatory and internal compliance.

Requirements and Skills:

-Tertiary qualification in Safety, Health, Environmental Science, or a related field.

-At least 5 years of leadership experience in SHE within the mining or resource sector.

-In-depth knowledge of SHE legislation, risk management, and best practices.

-Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.

-Demonstrated ability to drive cultural change and safety ownership across teams.
