Summary of Responsibilities
- Carry out surveillance activities through the utilization of CCTV or any other system to ensure optimal protection of property
- Conduct investigations of policy and procedural violations and report with recommendations
- Monitor adherence to policies and procedures
- Carry out security system tests
- Identify risk areas and make recommendations to ensure control
- Controls movement in order to prevent unauthorized access
- Conduct security operations as directed (Alco testing and Over speeding)
- Implements security measures as directed to protect company assets
- Check physical integrity and security of premises and assess risks of intrusions and incidents
- Carry out physical clearance including sealing of strategic points
- Respond to security alarms, investigate causes and take appropriate action
- Conducts security patrols to enhance assets protection
- Provides good customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
- Conducts incidents investigations and submit reports with recommendations.
- Perform standby duties
Requirements
- Diploma in Security Risk Management or equivalent qualification
- 3 years’ experience in the security industry
- Must have a strong commitment to workplace safety, the ability to work with minimum supervision, in a team environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent team player, with the ability to work independently
- Excellent communication skills
- Knows what best practices exist and interpret application to own work
- Good knowledge and practices associated with operational security
- Valid Drivers’ License with at least 2 years’ experience
- Ability to demonstrate PNR values and core competencies
