REPORTS TO: Core Network Manager
OBJECTIVES OF THE JOB

– Responsible for the operation and maintenance of a high-quality service of core networks for voice and data services, always ensuring high performance on all systems to meet customer satisfaction targets.
– Lead the team in core network operations, planning, review, and modernizing the network.
– Provide effective technical support to SV Core Engineers, assistant engineers, and technicians.
– Continually provide quality improvements within the voice & data units’ core operations.

QUALIFICATION
– Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or equivalent.
– Specialised training in Telecommunications.

EXPERIENCE
– Six (6) years of experience in maintaining Core switching units, two (2) years of which should be as Senior Engineer.

PROFESSIONAL MEMBERSHIP
– ERB Compliant.
– Membership of a professional association will be an added advantage (BIE, IEEE, etc)
