Overview
Tsetseng Retail Group is seeking a Shaft Sinking Designer/Draughtsperson and Document Controller to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed technical drawings based on project requirements and managing document control on-site. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong technical and project administration skills.
Key Responsibilities
–Project Execution: Prepare technical drawings and 3D models for projects.
–Project Administration and Support: Collaborate with the Section Leader to ensure project requirements are met.
–Quality Assurance: Ensure all designs and documentation meet the required standards.
–Document Control: Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation on-site.
Qualifications and Experience
- Education: Draughting Certificate.
- Experience:
- At least 10 years’ experience in a drawing office as a Mechanical/Structural Draughtsperson or 3D Modeller.
- Minimum of 8 years of mining experience, focusing on surface and underground engineering.
- Software Proficiency:
- Competency in Autodesk Advanced Steel (minimum 2 years of experience).
- Experience with Autodesk Revit or Autodesk Plant 3D is advantageous.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Teams.
- Technical Skills:
- Ability to model 3D equipment and structural steelwork based on Engineering Design Sheets.
- Previous site experience or exposure is essential.
- Proven track record of managing document control for at least 3 years.
- Evidence of previous projects may be requested.
