We are seeking a qualified and experienced SHE (Safety, Health, and Environment) Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of health and safety across all operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement SHE policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards and legal requirements.
- Provide safety training and awareness programs for staff.
- Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain a safe work environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Recognized tradesman qualification in a relevant field.
- At least 2 years of experience in a mining or construction environment.
- Clean safety record from previous employments.
- Familiarity with major mining machinery brands (Komatsu, CAT, Hitachi, Liebherr).
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Valid and clean driver’s license.
