Overview:
Kalcon Pty Ltd is hiring a SHE Representative to promote workplace health, safety, and environmental compliance at the Khoemacau Paste Backfill Project. This role requires proactive risk management and the enforcement of safety protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct workplace safety inspections and risk assessments.
- Enforce compliance with occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Investigate incidents, near-misses, and hazards, and provide corrective actions.
- Deliver safety training and awareness programs for employees.
- Ensure that PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) is used correctly.
- Prepare and submit safety reports to management.
Requirements:
- SHE Representative certification or relevant safety qualification.
- Previous experience in a safety role within a mining or construction environment.
- Knowledge of workplace safety regulations and risk management.
- Strong observation and reporting skills.
- Ability to conduct safety training and enforce compliance.
