Position: SHEC & Quality Underground Trainer

Location: Zone 5 Mine Site, between Maun and Sehithwa, Ngamiland, Botswana

Overview:
JCHX Mining Management Co., Ltd. is seeking an experienced SHEC & Quality Underground Trainer to develop and deliver site-wide training in safety, health, environment, and quality (SHEQ). This role is essential for improving competency, reducing incidents, and supporting the growth of local workforce capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

-Support supervisors and leaders in the rollout of safety training and audits.

-Develop and deliver training for SHEQ systems and best practices.

-Participate in incident investigations and root cause analysis (e.g., ICAM).

-Conduct toolbox talks and monitor team compliance.

-Liaise with client safety representatives to align training programs.

-Support workforce development and continuous improvement.

Requirements and Skills:

-Minimum 3 years’ experience in underground mining in a safety, training, or leadership role.

-Deep understanding of SHEQ systems, safety auditing, and incident investigation.

-Proven experience in training and workforce development.

-Ability to influence leadership and drive behavior change.

-Excellent communication and English language skills.

-Strong mentoring and coaching skills.
