Operations Manager – SAVE Wildlife Conservation Fund

SAVE Wildlife Conservation Botswana is seeking for a highly motivated and experienced, hands-on Operations Manager to support the effective administration, coordination, and day-to-functioning of the organisation and its conservation programmes.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily organisational and administrative operations
- Coordinate logistics for conservation, and community projects.
- Manage procurement, suppliers, facilities, vehicles, equipment, and inventories.
- Support budgeting, financial administration, reporting, and compliance.
- Coordinate Staff, volunteers, consultants and service providers.
- Develop and maintain operational systems, policies, and procedures.
- Support grant implementation, donor reporting, and project planning.
- Ensure compliance with Botswana’s legal, regulatory, health, safety and environmental requirements.
- Represent SAVE professionally with partners, communities, government agencies and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Degree or relevant qualification in business administration, operations management, project management or a related field.
- At least 5 years or more relevant operational or administrative management experience.
- Experience working with NGOs, conservation organisations, rural programs or community-based projects is an advantage.
- Strong organisational budgeting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and digital administration systems
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Valid Drivers’ license and willingness to travel to remote areas
- Demonstrate commitment to wildlife conservation and community development
