TswanaGas is seeking an experienced Fleet Manager to oversee fleet operations, driver schedules, and vehicle maintenance in Gaborone.

We are seeking an experienced Fleet Manager to oversee TswanaGas’s fleet, drivers and transport operations. The role will ensure safe, reliable and cost-effective fleet operations. Experience in LPG or hazardous-goods transport is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily fleet availability, vehicle allocation and driver schedules.
  • Ensure servicing, repairs, inspections, licensing and roadworthiness are up to date.
  • Monitor fuel usage, mileage, GPS tracking, maintenance and fleet costs.
  • Enforce driver safety, compliance and company fleet policies.
  • Manage breakdowns, accidents, incident reporting and corrective action.

Requirements

  • Diploma or degree in Fleet Management, Transport, Logistics or a related field.
  • At least 1 year experience in fleet, transport or logistics management.
  • Knowledge of vehicle maintenance, fuel control, GPS tracking and fleet administration.
  • Good knowledge of Botswana transport, safety and compliance requirements.
  • Strong leadership, planning, communication and reporting skills.
  • LPG/hazardous-goods experience is an advantage.
