The Partnerships Manager will join the organisation at an important time as Women Deliver seeks to strengthen its role as a catalytic organisation within the global gender equality ecosystem.

About the Partnerships Manager Role

The successful candidate will play a central role in building and maintaining relationships with Women Deliver’s funding partners.

The position focuses on managing a portfolio of institutional, philanthropic and corporate partners while ensuring strong stewardship throughout the grant lifecycle.

The Partnerships Manager will serve as a key connection between external funders and internal teams. This includes coordinating reporting, partner engagement, renewals, communications and other activities that help maintain long-term funding relationships.

The role reports to the Senior Director, Partnerships and Resource Mobilization.

Key Responsibilities

The Partnerships Manager will manage day-to-day relationships with funding partners and help develop strategies for long-term partnership growth.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing a portfolio of institutional, philanthropic and corporate funding partners
• Developing partner account plans
• Coordinating partner meetings and strategic check-ins
• Supporting engagement around major global events and strategic moments
• Preparing briefing materials and presentations
• Monitoring partner satisfaction
• Identifying opportunities to strengthen relationships
• Supporting the use of Salesforce for partnership management
• Maintaining accurate donor and partner records
• Improving donor tracking and reporting systems

The successful candidate will also support grant management and renewals by coordinating reporting schedules, project plans and internal contributions.

Grant Management and Renewals

A significant part of the position involves ensuring that funding commitments are effectively managed.

The Partnerships Manager will coordinate grant reporting and ensure that reports are completed to a high standard and submitted on time.

The role will also involve:

• Managing grant calendars
• Tracking reporting deadlines
• Coordinating information from programme, finance, communications and learning teams
• Monitoring donor pipelines
• Coordinating with finance on revenue and receivables
• Supporting grant renewals and amendments
• Identifying renewal opportunities
• Developing engagement opportunities for funders

Strong project management and organisational skills will therefore be important.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

The Partnerships Manager will work across Women Deliver to ensure that partner commitments are met and communication remains effective.

The role involves coordinating with multiple internal teams, tracking actions from partner meetings and identifying potential delivery risks.

The successful candidate will also contribute to improving partnership management processes, tools, templates and reporting workflows.

Experience working within matrixed organisations and coordinating across different teams will be valuable.

Qualifications and Experience

Women Deliver is looking for a professional with 6–8 years of progressive experience in areas such as nonprofit fundraising, strategic partnerships, business development or philanthropy.

Candidates should demonstrate experience managing strategic partnerships, major accounts, grants or institutional donors and increasing their financial or non-financial value over time.

French and Spanish proficiency is also considered a plus.

Global Remote Opportunity

The position can be performed remotely from anywhere in the world, making this a particularly notable opportunity for international professionals.

Candidates must be able to work the established core hours of 2–5 PM UTC and must have appropriate work authorisation for the location in which they are based.

The role may also require international travel when necessary.
