EM Tyre Specialists (Pty) Ltd is seeking a suitably qualified and motivated candidate with relevant qualifications and experience for the following position tenable in Gaborone.
Position: Accounts Officer
Minimum Qualifications
- Diploma in Accounting, Finance or a related field
- Sound knowledge of accounting principles and financial procedures
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, Sage/Pastel) and Microsoft Excel
- High level of accuracy, integrity and attention to detail
- Strong organisational, communication and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and meet reporting deadlines
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years’ relevant working experience in an accounting or finance role
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivables
- Processing invoices, payments, receipts, and other financial transactions
- Process Payroll
- Maintain accurate accounting and financial records
- Preparing of financial reports and reconciliation
- Perform bank and ledger reconciliation
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records
- Assist with other accounting duties as required
