PRIMARY SCHOOL ART TEACHER
We are seeking an inspiring and imaginative Primary Art Teacher to cultivate creativity, artistic expression, and visual literacy in our young learners. The ideal candidate will foster a vibrant studio environment where students explore diverse artistic mediums and develop confidence in their artistic abilities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan and deliver creative, age-appropriate art and visual design lessons across primary grade levels.
- Introduce students to diverse artistic mediums, techniques, and art history (e.g., painting, drawing, sculpture, crafts).
- Organize and showcase student artwork through school exhibitions, displays, and community displays.
- Maintain an inspiring, safe, and well-organized art studio space, managing equipment and supplies efficiently.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Diploma / Degree in Art & Design Education or Fine Arts
- Minimum 2 years teaching experience in primary school
- Portfolio of own artwork and learners’ work
- Proficient in drawing, painting, craft, design and mixed media
- Creative, patient and able to organize Art exhibitions and clubs
- Knowledge of Cambridge Primary Art curriculum an added advantage
