PRIMARY SCHOOL Computer Teacher
We are looking for an innovative and forward-thinking Primary School Computer Teacher to introduce our students (Reception through Standard 7) to the exciting world of technology and digital literacy. You will equip young learners with foundational computing skills, online safety knowledge, and interactive problem-solving abilities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Deliver creative computer literacy and digital skills lessons tailored from Reception to Standard 7.
- Teach foundational concepts including basic keyboarding, interactive software, digital safety, and introductory logic/coding.
- Manage and maintain a productive, safe, and engaging computer lab environment.
- Integrate technology across subjects to enhance students’ digital fluency.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Diploma / Degree in Computer Science / ICT / Computer Education
- Minimum 2 years experience teaching computers at primary level
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, basic coding (Scratch), internet safety, typing
- Ability to maintain computer lab and keep it organized
- Patient with young learners and able to make lessons fun and practical
- Knowledge of Cambridge Primary ICT curriculum
