PRIMARY SCHOOL MUSIC TEACHER
We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative Primary School Music Teacher to inspire a love for music, rhythm, and performance in our young learners. The ideal candidate will foster musical curiosity and nurture artistic talent through dynamic classroom lessons, practical instrument training, and school performances.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan and deliver engaging music lessons across primary grade levels.
- Organize and direct school choirs, ensembles, and musical events/assemblies.
- Introduce students to music theory, vocal techniques, and a variety of instruments.
- Cultivate an inclusive, encouraging environment for students of all skill levels.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Diploma / Degree in Music Education
- MUST be able to play and teach Steel Pan instrument – this is compulsory
- Able to play at least one other instrument (Keyboard / Guitar)
- Minimum 2 years teaching music at primary level
- Ability to train school choir and prepare learners for assemblies, concerts and competitions
- Able to read and teach music theory and notation
- Energetic and passionate about nurturing talent
